Trance Formation is Fatin and Zoe, both formerly of Daughters of Sophia Tribal Dance Troupe.  Once leaving D of S, I missed dancing with a troupe.  After bringing her to Philly to watch a Gothic Belly Dance Performance and a week of wooing, I finally convinced Zoe to start a troupe of our own.  Click the pictures to find out how we each got started.  Scroll down for performance updates.

                                                     Almost An Alternate

Trance Formation will be performing at the Jewel of the Nile Middle Eastern Dance Pageant on November 12 in Cherry Hill, NJ.  We will be competing against some of the greatest dancers on the east coast.

Trance Formation will be performing at the Daughters of Sophia Hafla by the Sea on November 18th, located in beautiful Point Pleasant NJ.  More information to come. 

Back to Harrisburg!  The Semi Annual Harrisburg Hafla is scheduled for sometime in December and we are scheduled to perform.  More info to come.

Trance Formation  performed at the Lakewood Renaissance Faire Sept 16 & 17.  It marked the 25th anniversary of the Lakewood Lions Club's Annual Charity Renaissance Faire.  We performed both days.  Due to an accidental injury, the sword was dropped from the performances on Sunday.  My daughter made her performance debut and was wonderful, if I do say so myself!

We  just performed our first gig on the beach.  Unfortunately, due to it being a private party, we have no event pictures.  It was a very stressful, but very wonderful experience.  I think I may have to start a blog to explain it all.  A few of the guests gushingly told us how fantastic we were.  A few more gigs like this and we won't be able to fit our heads in the door!

Our troupe's debut performance was at a hafla in Harrisburg, PA on July 16, 2006.  Although we were debuting a 3 hour drive west of all our friends and anyone who would have come to see us, we put on a fantastic show (if I do say so myself) and had a great time doing it.  Check out all  the event pictures by clicking here.

Trance Formation performed at the Daughters of Sophia on May 27th.  Although we did not perform together, we did perform out solos.  We had a great time watching the incredible talent that also performed that day.  We met a lot of new people and caught up with old friends.  You can see the pictures from this event by clicking here.
